Wes Rogers, a veteran trial lawyer and State Representative for Clay County, Mo., joins BG Law as a workers’ compensation attorney of counsel. Rogers will use his extensive courtroom experience to obtain favorable results for injured workers.
After graduating from the University of Missouri School of Law, Rogers became a public defender in Buchanan County. Rogers became an assistant prosecutor in Clay County in 2008, where he tried dozens of jury trials, bench trials, and other evidentiary matters, and worked his way up to become Deputy Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. During his time at the prosecutor’s office, Rogers developed a reputation as a fair prosecutor who was willing to stand up for what was right. Rogers brings this same attitude to his workers’ compensation practice. He formed Rogers Law LLC in 2013 and was a solo practitioner until joining BG Law.
Rogers is a member of the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Clay County Bar Association, Platte County Bar Association, and Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. He was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2018.
Blake Green, founder and managing attorney at BG Law, welcomed Rogers and the experience he brings to the firm and its clients.
